Things that strike me

I have decided to do this. Albeit, not in pink, in some kind of a cross between burgundy and purpule. Possibly blueberry yoghurt coloured, depending on your yoghurt. To that end I’ve spent ages learning to do a chainless foundation row, which is, indeed, a thing of beauty and if you crochet and want to learn how to do it, this is the video that made most sense to me.

I spent some time this morning in a wool shop not buying wool for this because I couldn’t find an easy equivalent. Dang those American patterns. Meanwhile, I can’t concentrate on the instructions for the cardigan, possibly because I am tired and hungry so I’ll go back to that later, armed with a word processer and a way of making the font bigger so that I can separate out the instructions a bit better.
