When my chips are down, I tend to aim for a piano so on Monday, I called Walton’s New School of Music to see if I could get a rehearsal room. They told me they closed early this week so no piano for Treasa.
Disappointing in many ways. Desperation entered – all the repeat plays of Rachmaninov were not raising my mood so eventually I took to seeing if there was anything akin to a piano simulator on the internet. I found this.
It’s not absolutely perfect – I’d have arranged the keys differently – but it was as close as I was going to get on Monday. I had a ball with it.
I’m posting it here so that I can find it if I need it again in the future. In the meantime, things are a lot brighter (the sun shining will help) and so, Grieg and his friends are more than adequate.
I have started looking at possibly getting a secondhand digital piano just to be on the safe side though.
