According to the Guardian, Goldman Sachs is about to pay off some nice bonuses to its staff.
There is debate about this on the website. In particular, so far, this comment has found my attention.
Company makes profits, company pays bonuses. What the heck did you think they would do with their profits, hand them over to the Labour government to blow on another stupid project?
I thought they handed profits over to the shareholders. That’s what they are supposed to do, right?
