Some time ago I signed up to the Turing sunflower project and part of this will involve making videos of them from time to time.
I did this for a couple of reasons – one of which was getting involved in a project like this in the first place – and secondly because I’m not a good gardener.
Yes, I know I successfully grow strawberries but that happens more by luck than anything else. I kill mint plants (and have admitted to this in the video above) for no reason that I can discern. If I could, I would bottle it because apparently mint grows wild for most other people.
Anyway, this week’s question from the organisers involved introducing your sunflowers so in between the fairly horrendous rain showers over Dublin today, I went and shot this video. I am surprised by how high quality the imagery is – I don’t usually shoot video, this was on my phone and frankly it’s pretty decent altogether. It’s giving me ideas. Lots of ideas.
In other completely unrelated news I apparently have more Dropbox space. Thanks Dropbox.
